Heavy Danish butler's serving tray with ornate handles antique neoclassical style with makers mark to back . Excquisite quality cast electrotype frieze with Ancient Greek figures of the gods from the Parthenon. The back of the silvered copper tray with cast mark: Budtz Muller & Co This early photographer became noted for his fabulous work and became the Royal court photographer to the Danish Court. His company was also very interested in neoclassical Danish design most notable works including by the famous Danish sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen and the Glyptotek in Copenhagen.

Antique STANHOPE viewer of Napoleon Bonaparte shaped as a paper knife, sword or letter opener with enrgaved silver plated blade.
Purely ornamental and in very good original condition this gorgeous quality paper knife or letter opener with ornate neoclassical handle in the shape of Napoleon Bonaparte in his traditional bicorn hat . He stands above an Imperial French eagle attached to the delicate engraved blade. The Stanhope is the small glass lense tube attached at the hilt and is a miniature photographic viewer. They are usually very small and discreet and were made from the 1860's onwards as commemorative souveniers. The ultimate in desk top accessories. France late 19th century

This set consists of two large placemats of 20cm each and 6 similar place mats of 16 cm diameter each. The purpose of these gorgeous antique Scandinavian placemats is to protect tables and polished surfaces from heat or scratches.

She is athletically in pose and stands, mounted on a marble base. She presents herself as a pre Art Deco goddess. Both ewer and wine chalice are separately cast to the main statue.
